Description
In 1932, young pâtissier Maurice Corné embarked on his journey as a chocolatier by opening his shop in Brussels’ Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères. His inspired decision quickly led to remarkable success, allowing him to build a team of 30 and attract numerous celebrity patrons, including the famous Maurice Chevalier. Initially known simply as Corné, the business evolved as Maurice's siblings began to create their own pralines. To set himself apart and celebrate his success, Maurice chose to add a regal flair to his brand, leading to the establishment of Corné Port-Royal.
