Our company is driven by the mission that everyone should experience the joy and freedom that retirement brings. Since our founding in 1975, this principle has guided our actions and decisions. We were inspired to start the company in response to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, known as ERISA, which we believed would enhance retirement plan options for businesses. This legislation regulates employer-sponsored benefit plans, including retirement plans, and continues to shape our industry as Third Party Administrators.
