Description
Our mission is to nurture children, youth, and caregivers to promote healthy and intact families. We provide essential support to families facing various types of trauma, including those led by grandparents unexpectedly caring for young children, parents with children who have disabilities, and homeless families. Our services extend across Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco Counties. We offer specialized care through our Respite Care Program, which provides caregivers a needed break. Our Family Preservation Program delivers intensive, home-based case management for families under stress, helping to mitigate the risks of child abuse and neglect. Additionally, Growing Up Strong assists families with children dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social challenges, or those affected by trauma from family or community violence.
