The Education Trust of Alaska was created under the Alaska College Savings Act, empowering the University of Alaska, via its Board of Regents, to act as Trustee. The Trust features three distinct 529 college savings plans: the University of Alaska College Savings Plan, available directly to Alaskan investors; the T. Rowe Price College Savings Plan, marketed nationally; and the John Hancock Freedom 529, offered through financial consultants nationwide.
