Long's was founded in 1948 by Tom Long as a personnel service aimed at connecting job seekers with local businesses. Over three generations, this family-owned enterprise has transformed into a comprehensive human resource organization offering temporary, contract, and permanent employment solutions in clerical, industrial, professional, and technical fields, along with outplacement services. With over 65 years of experience, our dedicated and knowledgeable staff has consistently adapted to changing economic conditions. The Mobile office was established in 1948, followed by the Foley office in 1986. Long's is affiliated with various professional organizations, including TempNet, the Alabama Staffing Association, and multiple local chambers of commerce, and our leadership team actively participates on the boards of several of these groups.
