Miguel Paredes established Prudent Fiduciary Services to offer Independent Fiduciary, ERISA compliance consulting, and expert witness services specifically for employee benefit plans, including qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans. Before founding the company, Mr. Paredes had a successful 12-year tenure as an employee benefit plan investigator and supervisor with the U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). During his time at EBSA, he conducted and oversaw numerous investigations of ERISA-covered retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and service providers, emphasizing Employee Stock Ownership Plans and complex financial issues.
